The unprecedented increase in population has led to significant reduction in portion size of land plots. The need for increased demand for food, coupled with reduced land sizes has led to often environmentally disastrous and unsustainable agricultural approaches and overexploitation of resources. This has led to reduction in yield and quality of food produced, subsequently leading to food insecurity.
